Pulse is a dynamic metric that appears next to each entry once the Voting period begins in a Quest. It represents the relative voting performance of your entry compared to others in the same Quest. The higher your entry’s Pulse, the better its ranking.
Your entry will have a Pulse of 0 upon submission, and may rise and fall over the course of the Quest. Generally, when your photo is shown in voting against another photo, and a user votes for your photo, the Pulse of your submission will increase. If a user votes against your submission (by voting for the other photo) the Pulse of your submission will decrease.
